Spring Break!

And so spring break is officially upon us!  For me, this is a time to sleep and catch up on doing absolutely nothing.  Spring has to be my favorite season, except for summer, and fall, and winter...well, you get my point.  I know these next two months are absolutely going to fly by, so I'm savoring this week as much as possible.  Next thing I know, I'll be on an airplane headed towards America! :)  Everything has been so crazy, after seven straight weeks of school, I do think a week of nothing is deserved!

This week I'm hoping to tackle some new recipe.  Probably something from the always wonderful Bakerella ~ she has super delicious recipes on her website!  Holidays always put me in the mood for something sweet, especially specific holidays...(thinking what I'm thinking?!) Easter!  Yes, Easter brings in lots of wonderful baking opportunities which I will never hesitate to take advantage of :)  So tell me, what's your favorite part about spring break?

And Then There Was...Blog

Well, here it goes.

I write. A lot.  I have a lot to write about as well.  Therefore, it seems that writing suits me.  This is why I'm writing this, because I love to write.  Writing isn't simply words coming down on paper, or in a text box, but rather, an expression of feeling.  Be it happiness, sadness, anger, joy, or some other profound expressive emotion, writing is a way of capturing it.

I don't plan to write my feelings throughout this blog however, I don't like mushy-mushy writings, especially on blogs!  In my humble opinion, save the mushy-mushy for your diary, not your blog.  I plan this to be a simple, opinionated sort-of blog of mine.  Just another point of view on life.  My own.

So what a way to start April.  Maybe this is me just April-fooling myself, and maybe I'll never follow through with this.  But I'm going to try, at least for the month of April, to make blog writing a habitual thing for myself.  I know it'll be crazy on top of everything else right now, but this time I'm determined.  And now I'll have to format this ugly mess of a blog I have right now!
